This-Ability is financed by The National Lottery Community Fund.
HLC is the lead partner for the YEI Springboard Hull and Humber partnership project. This activity is part financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund. The project is also funded through YEI Springboard on behalf of The National Lottery Community Fund.
Programme duration
It is a 4 year project, commencing January 2019 and ending December 2022.
What is This-Ability?
This-Ability is a £3.7 million, 4-year National Lottery Community Fund programme aimed at finding 500 young people with a disability, learning disability/difficulty or a long term health/mental health condition sustainable employment.
The aim of the project is to provide specialist support and training for young people to access work and learning. This will give young people the opportunities to explore and experience specific occupational sectors, with job opportunities, within the Hull and East Riding area. Participants will also complete an ‘Employability Passport’.
Who is This-Ability for?
The project is suitable for the following young people:
- 18 – 29 years old
- Unemployed or economically inactive (for a minimum of 6 months)
- Living in Hull or East Riding
- With a disability, learning disability/difficulty or a long-term health/mental health condition

• Digital and ICT
