We are not currently looking to work with any new sub-contractors at present.
Humber Learning Consortium’s Adult Skills Fund (ASF) programme is financed by the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).
It is designed to help people aged 19 and over gain the appropriate skills and qualifications to help them find a job or progress into further learning.
The ASF programme consists of high-quality skills training and skills development across a wide range of qualifications and occupational sectors including warehousing, digital, hair and beauty, sports, construction, and customer service. Maths and English is also available for those who have not yet achieved a GCSE grade 4 or equivalent.
HLC are working with five partners to deliver this programme across Hull and the East Riding.
Due to HLC’s wealth of experience in previously delivering and achieving over 1000 courses, a new contract had been awarded with delivery commencing from the 1st of August 2023.
For further details please contact the HLC’s ASF Team on (01482) 327438 or contact one of the organisations listed below.

Ofsted success
HLC has yet again been awarded the status of a “Good” independent learning provider, following an Ofsted inspection in June 2022. This follows the same result from Ofsted in 2020, 2015 and 2012.
Whilst the Ofsted inspection focused on the Traineeship provision, all of HLC’s programmes are delivered following similar principles, so many of the themes noted within the report are reflected in all of our programmes and the impact that our provision has on learners overall.
