Hull Training are delighted to
announce that some of their learners
will be returning to Endeavour
Learning and Skills centre this week!

The National Guidance regarding face-to-face learning delivery is moving swiftly, in line with the opening of pubs, shops and businesses, and as a consequence of pressure from representative bodies.

Thank you for all the interest that’s been shown in the HLC E-Bulletin. We have received some amazing feedback to our new feature ‘Tales from lock down.’ It’s been great to hear about your experiences and what you’ve been up to during this working from home period.

Welcome to HLC’s re-vamped Safeguarding newsletter. We’ve been busy during lockdown, reviewing our systems and we’ll be looking to launch a number of improved Safeguarding and PREVENT resources for our delivery partners over the coming few months – including a simplified 6-step alert process.

The National Lottery Community Fund are working with Government to support organisations or partnerships at the heart of their community to continue to deliver services to people or communities affected by Covid-19.Funding of between £10,000 and £100,000 is available to both deliver services, and overcome acute financial difficulties as a result of the pandemic.

TO OPEN OR NOT TO OPEN – THAT IS THE QUESTION?…
The fact that we are all thinking about this, provides hope that we are slowly returning to a form of normality. Planning for this through risk assessment and adaptation of work spaces is a positive and proactive step forward.

WELCOME BACK…THIS E-BULLETIN FOCUSES ON DELIVERY PARTNER FEEDBACK…..WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!!…
In the last two months, the COVID-19 emergency has set us unprecedented personal and organisational challenges. The response from HLC’s delivery partners, in supporting disadvantaged learners has been outstanding, as numerous case study examples within our e-newsletters have demonstrated.

The well being of staff and learners seems even more important at the moment, and the focus of this weeks newsletter highlights support available to HLC partner staff and learners.

In this edition we want to encourage partners across our network to think creatively about
their projects and how they can effectively deliver remote learning.

WELCOME BACK….THANKS FOR THE AMAZING RESPONSES TO SUPPORT HLC LEARNERS!!…
The focus of the newsletter this week is about finding creative ways to continue
to support and develop HLC learners through these challenging times.
There are many examples of the great response of HLC partners in this crisis,
and hopefully, some of the funding updates below reassure you that your
support and activity will continue to be funded.

Welcome to our second E-Bulletin! Thank you for all your responses, we’ve
had some really good feedback! Keep sharing your stories about how you are
responding to delivering learning and support. It’s great to celebrate the
innovative approaches taking place across HLC programmes.

Welcome to the first edition of Humber Learning Consortium’s (HLC) weekly e-bulletin. We are producing this briefing for our partners and stakeholders during the COVID-19 emergency.
