The National Lottery Community Fund are working with Government to support organisations or partnerships at the heart of their community to continue to deliver services to people or communities affected by Covid-19.Funding of between £10,000 and £100,000 is available to both deliver services, and overcome acute financial difficulties as a result of the pandemic.

In the last two months, the COVID-19 emergency has set us unprecedented personal and organisational challenges. The response from HLC’s delivery partners, in supporting disadvantaged learners has been outstanding, as numerous case study examples within our e-newsletters have demonstrated.

The well being of staff and learners seems even more important at the moment, and the focus of this weeks newsletter highlights support available to HLC partner staff and learners.

Welcome to the first edition of Humber Learning Consortium’s (HLC) weekly e-bulletin. We are producing this briefing for our partners and stakeholders during the COVID-19 emergency.

HLC are now currently accepting electronic applications for Community Grants Round 3! A full assessment and formal negotiations on contract start dates and approval of award will be discussed upon our return to the office.

This month we celebrate 18 years working in partnership to deliver high-quality learning opportunities in disadvantaged communities, helping more than 40,000 learners in the last decade alone.

In light of the Coronavirus threat, HLC has reluctantly decided to postpone the current Humber and East Riding Community Grants launch round until further notice.
