Safeguarding Week 2025 Resources

HLC Safeguarding Week. 28th April - 1st May

HLC Safeguarding Page

At Humber Learning Consortium (HLC) we believe that safety and welfare create the foundations to learn, thrive and achieve.

From Monday 28th April until Thursday 1st May, we hosted the HLC safeguarding Week for our delivery partners and their learners. And it’s safe to say….the week was a huge success!

It wouldn’t have been possible without all the support from the many organisations, services and individuals that helped us provide such an informative and thought-provoking week.

HLC Safeguarding Week was delivered in collaboration with our delivery partners, local services, and learners. The themes covered enhanced the already excellent work we do within our communities by creating opportunities to learn from specialist practitioners refreshing our knowledge of the current local and national threats and risks in relation to radicalisation, safeguarding and welfare.

Below are some of the resources delivered during the week.

Radicalisation. A local context.
Radicalisation and risk are evolving; recent events have reinforced the importance of understanding the local context.
