Safeguarding Week 2025

At Humber Learning Consortium (HLC) we believe that safety and welfare create the foundations to learn, thrive and achieve.

With this in mind, we are dedicating a week this spring to all things safeguarding. HLC’s Safeguarding Week will offer a range of opportunities for our delivery partners, their teams and learners to gain information on local safeguarding and Prevent issues, share key learning and access resources. That will help us effectively embed a strong safeguarding culture with learner wellbeing sitting at the heart of our delivery.

HLC Safeguarding Week will be delivered in collaboration with our delivery partners, local services, and learners, offering face to face and online events. The themes covered will enhance the already excellent work we do within our communities by creating opportunities to learn from specialist practitioners refreshing our knowledge of the current local and national threats and risks in relation radicalisation, safeguarding and welfare.
