E-safety has risen in importance during the COVID-19 pandemic, as our learners and partners have switched to on-line support and delivery. From a safeguarding perspective this creates three areas of risk – Content: exposure to illegal, inappropriate or harmful material. Contact: being subject to harmful on-line interaction with other users. Conduct: personal on-line behaviour that increases the likelihood of, or causes harm.
