Register your interest in the Amazon DFN Project SEARCH Supported Internship

DFN Project SEARCH is a business-led, one-year Supported Internship programme for young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).  It is targeted at young people whose goal is competitive employment in the community. The programme combines classroom education with practical work experience in various Amazon roles.

This Supported Internship will give you the opportunity to develop your employment skills working with Amazon at their fulfilment centre in Melton.

The programme lasts one academic year. Interns are on placement Monday – Friday. They usually spend an hour in the morning learning employability and life skills before starting their work placement. Placements are a typical work day lasting 5 hours, followed by a catch-up session at the end of the day. Interns will undertake three skills building rotations, each taking ten weeks, with feedback to support their professional development.
