The Capacity Manager is a tool to enable you to evaluate whether your internal support services are working effectively. A Tennyson Insurance initiative designed to help not-for-profit groups become compliant quickly, easily and free of charge. Charity property helpline

Charity Property Help is a pro bono service designed to assist voluntary and community sector organisations, by providing free support and guidance on all property matters in the UK. Co-operatives UK

We are a trustee of the Co-operative College, who help us support the development of sustainable co-operative, mutual and social enterprises both in the UK and around the world. We are also the only organisation that seeks to measure the scope of the Co-operative Economy, producing the Co-operative Review and the Co-operative UK 100 each year.

Business Link Humber's local online 'business' service is to close its doors at the end of March 2008. All business support services will then transfer to Business Link Yorkshire who have not, to date, a live web presence. You are therefore advised to use this link to visit the National Site and key in your Post Code to check whether BL Yorkshire has a presence, yet.

KnowHow NonProfit is a fresh new website built solely for people working in not for profit organisations. The Pay and Employment Rights Service is a charity established to promote good practice in employment. They support and train employers across Yorkshire in meeting their legal and ethical responsibilities, advise employees who have questions or problems about their employment, and work to improve employment policies and procedures through research, campaigning, and lobbying.

ProHelp is a national network of over 800 professional firms who make a difference in the community by offering free advice and support to local community groups and voluntary organisations. Yorkshire and Humber ProHelp has 113 members. Last year the firms provided £345,000 worth of professional support to voluntary organisations in need within the local community.
