ERVAS provides support and development services to the Voluntary and Community sector throughout the East Riding of Yorkshire. We are members of NAVCA and are accredited through Volunteering England.

Our services include funding advice, guidance and support, volunteering, community accountancy and the PRIME database groups and activities in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Our role in the Transforming Local Infrastructure project is to re-develop the Volunteer Brokerage Service, promoting and developing local Emploee Supported Volunteering opportunites.


Humber and Wolds Rural Community Council (HWRCC) is an independent charity working to improve the sustainability and vibrancy of rural communities in the East Riding of Yorkshire, North and North East Lincolnshire.

We support and encourage rural communities to develop, so they can influence their own futures and secure a range of community facilities and services. HWRCC is one of 38 Rural Community Councils covering England and Wales, all operating independently, and working closely with Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE), our collective national voice

Humber Learning Consortium

At Humber Learning Consortium (HLC) we are passionate about learning. We believe that voluntary and community organisations are best placed to work with hard-to-reach learners and make a positive difference to their lives and aspirations. 

Our current product and service portfolio includes: management of contracts on behalf of our delivery partners, quality improvement advice and support (Common Inspection Framework / OFSTED), data management services, continuing professional development, e-marketing services, provision of bespoke virtual learning environments and micro-sites.

During the East Riding Transforming Local Infrastructure project we will be developing a training and support portal and providing capacity building support to civil society organisations inthe East Riding of Yorkshire.


CERT specialises in job creation, training and regeneration projects that deliver sustainable improvements to the local economy. Our clients include Social Enterprises, Charities, not-for-profit groups, local authorities, Housing Associations, Education institutions, Government Departments and Regeneration Partnerships. The Community Economic Regeneration Team Ltd is a social enterprise established as a not for profit company limited by guarantee.

Under TLI in the East Riding CERT is delivering support to vol/com organisations that are exploring the delivery of public services as a means of income generation and working with public sector commissioners to develop the marketplace for the delivery of services by the third sector. CERT are also working with the private sector to involve them with the work of the third sector and increase the sustainability of such organisations by promoting Corporate Social Responsibility.
