Humber LEP Employability Passports – call for new applicants (23/10/18)

In 2017 Humber LEP began rolling out a unique employability passports framework, which enabled 25 schools, colleges, and independent training providers to gain recognition for their employability skills provision.

We are pleased to announce that a second FREE roll out is now open for applications from organisations seeking the Humber LEP kite-mark.

Places are strictly limited to 25 providers (N.B. we will accept collaborative applications, for example from a group of schools intending to use the same employability passport).

Applicants must:

  • Be a learning provider that is based in the Humber LEP area, or delivers at least 50% of its provision in the Humber
  • Currently delivers employability skills provision as part of its offer / curriculum
  • Have developed, or be in the process of developing a passport (or similar document) that enables a learner to evidence the CBI’s 7 employability skills
  • Have senior leadership support for the application
  • Have completed a self-assessment and be ready for LEP validation no later than 31st March 2019
  • Be able to attend a 2 hour briefing session in Hull on 13th December 2018 , 9th January 2019, or 10th January 2019.

The deadline for applications is Friday 23rd November 2018. Successful applicants will be notified week commencing 26th November and be required to attend an initial briefing session on either 13th December 2018, 9th January 2019 or 10th January 2019 .

Passport validation panels are scheduled to take place on the following dates in 2019:

  • 23 January
  • 24 January
  • 20 February
  • 21 February
  • 20 March
  • 21 March
