We have been working with North Ferriby Riding for the Disabled for a number of years and to celebrate RDA’s 50th anniversary we wanted to volunteer our time to help.
The riding school is volunteer-led and provides therapy and fun to local people who have special needs and disabilities. They provide the opportunity for people of all ages and disabilities to interact with and learn to ride horses and ponies. Find out more about the fantastic work they do by visiting their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pg/NorthFerribyRDA.
On Friday 12th July 2019 a team of 27 staff did everything from building a new chicken-pen to removing poisonous ragwort, and from building planters to renovating the children’s playhouse and indoor resource room.
Below are just a few of many photographs taken on the day.
