Consists of two face-to-face sessions, plus 6 weeks online delivery.

There are no new dates set at this stage but for further information visit the NIACE web.

The ways in which we can learn are evolving all the time. More and more organisations are considering a move towards the introduction of online or blended learning. There are so many reasons why this is seen as advantageous, including to:

  • training their employees using a flexible approach that allows training to be relevant, delivered when required and at times suitable for the organisation
  • train volunteers and employees speread over a wide area who cannot easily attend face-to-face
  • provide alternative delivery methods for their current learning provision
  • attract new and different learners
  • enhance exisiting face-to-face courses with an online element

This Exploring Successful Learning Online course will support staff in organisations who want to experience online learning through a virtual learning environment and explore some of the potential uses of online and blended learning and consider how it could be incorporated in their current or potential delivery. By completing the online programme, participants experience being part of an online learning community and explore the skills and knowledge required to create some online resources of their own.

This course is ideal for people who have yet to experience online learning or the use of a virtual learning environment.
