Wakefield Adult & Community Education Service wishes to appoint a part-time Team Leader for ESOL Skills for Life delivery. This tutor will be mainly involved Workplace ESOL delivery and candidates will be expected to have, or be currently undertaking, an ESOL Subject Specific qualification at Level 5, in addition to a generic Level 4 teaching qualification (i.e. PGCE/Cert. Ed.). Additional experience in literacy delivery would be an advantage. The post calls for a tutor who, in addition to exemplary teaching skills, also has experience of wider responsibility in the role of Team Leader as they will be expected to act as first line liaison with the workplaces concerned. The succesful candidate will also be expected to provide support for the existing ESOL team and to contribute to the service's continuing development of contextualised materials for workplace delivery.

The Federation of Disability Sports Organisations was established in 1993 to promote sport and leisure opportunities for people of all ability levels and our growing team provides the strategic lead for disability sports development in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Working within one of the County Sports Partnerships and closely with all sports providers, school sports partnerships and governing bodies of sport, your role will be to develop and implement the strategic plan; to co-ordinate sport and recreational strategies for disabled people to increase capacity and to identify and support talented disabled athletes throughout the county area.
The successful candidates will be organised, enthusiastic and self-motivated with a sound knowledge of disability sports structures, sport development principles and local sports networks, including education and local authority provision. You will have experience in delivering sports development initiatives.
Candidates will be educated to degree level or equivalent; have good IT and communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
