Celebration of Learning Awards 2009

Our annual Celebration of Learning Awards Ceremony, held at the KC Stadium on 12 November 2009, was a great success.

HLC celebrated the achievements of learners from all walks of life and age groups, many of whom had succeeded against many obstacles.

HLC delivery partners, whose staff and learners are the only organisations eligible for these awards, conduct some fantastic work resulting in many adults, some of whom would not consider learning, accessing learning. We want to celebrate, once again, this work and raise awareness of the excellent work taking place in the voluntary and community sector in the Humber.

The centrepiece of the day was our new 9 Community Learning Awards.
