Why not celebrate the success of our learners and providers of learning with us by showing your passion for learning and sponsoring one of our Annual Awards!

Celebration of Learning Awards - November 2009

Our Celebration of Learning Awards Ceremony, held at the KC Stadium on 12 November 2009, was a great success.

HLC celebrated the achievements of learners from all walks of life and age groups, many of whom had succeeded against many obstacles.

HLC delivery partners, whose staff and learners are the only organisations eligible for these awards, conduct some fantastic work resulting in many adults, some of whom would not consider learning, accessing learning. We want to celebrate, once again, this work and raise awareness of the excellent work taking place in the voluntary and community sector in the Humber.

The centrepiece of the day was our new 9 Community Learning Awards.

 

The Award categories are:

  • Learner of the Year
  • Most Improved Learner
  • Return to Learning Award
  • Young Achiever
  • Overcoming Barriers Award
  • Provider of the Year - Sponsored by Charity Bank in the North
  • Tutor of the Year - Sponsored by Goodwin Development Trust
  • Outstanding Contribution to Learning Award
  • Supporting Learning Award - Sponsored by Streamline Media

While we have received some sponsorship already, see above, there are still some awards you can sponsor, and it will only cost you £250 to sponsor one award.

 

OK, so what are the benefits for you as a sponsor:

  • Your companies name and logo will be inscribed on the award
  • Your representative will be invited to present the award (with a photo opportunity)
  • You will be guaranteed TWO places at the awards ceremony on 12th November 2009
  • You will be offered a Free Stand space  for your company to market its products and services
  • A photograph and mention of your company in the December 2009 edition of our Training News magazine (this has a circulation within the voluntary and public sectors of 1,000 organisations.)
  • A photograph and your company name will be featured on our web site for at least 6 weeks after the event.
