Community Grants

Community Grants of between £2,000 and £12,000 are focused on supporting smaller VCS organisations in the Yorkshire & Humber area who do not currently access mainstream government funds. Groups must meet small criteria in order to be eligible.

Personal and Community Development

A small SFA mainstream contract delivering learning for enjoyment throughout the Humber. Delivered by VCS orgs to the most disadvantaged learners.

The instigation, monitoring and advise around the quality of learning and its delivery, linked to the use of management information systems to set standards for performance improvement for both HLC and its delivery partners.  Observation of teaching & Learning, Quality monitoring & audits, Curriculum development, Management Information Systems, data collection performance monitoring, Quality Improvement Networks, Quality Assurance systems, contract performance monitoring, performance indicator setting & performance achievement monitoring

Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET)

An SFA/ESF funded initiative focused on reducing the number of young people who are NEET.
