Artlink
Artlink’s ethos is that everyone has some form of artistic ability and they work with any member of the public who would like to participate in the community arts sector. They particularly work with the socially disadvantaged, economically isolated and excluded. They run a community arts programme.
Best Training
Best Training are based in Grimsby and offer a wide range of training courses to all types of learners. They also offer information, advice and guidance to all learners. HLC work with them on the IAG contract.
Carlton Education and Enterprise Ltd
Carlton work with a wide variety of clients: ex-offenders, exclusions and substance abusers. They offer their clients BTEC awards; Information, Advice and Guidance – IAG and nextstep; NVQ awards with City & Guilds; On line testing, Skills for Life and Basic Skills; RAW; Short Courses (from 1 day and more); Overseas nursing programme
Catch 22
Catch 22, formerly Rainer, work with those who are unemployed, from chaotic backgrounds, such as living in temporary accommodation and include offenders and recovering substance misusers. They run an Activ8 course. Other programmes offered in the Humber area are Skills for Life and RAW.
Children and Family Action are a community based organisation based in Withernsea. They work with children and families in the Withernsea and Holderness area. They run Family Links, ICT & Creative Techniques and Mosaicing courses. They also offer advice on finding and preparing for employment; claiming the benefits you are entitled to; lone parenting support; training for work or education; volunteering; finding the right funding for your group or organisation; free confidential advice via the Hush Club
Christchurch Community Services
Christchurch works within the Bridlington area, which is an area of socio-economic deprivation. They aim to help young people in to employment, using mentors and offering help with work placements combined with training. The course they run include – ICT, Family Learning, Literacy, Numeracy and Photography.
Community Economic Regeneration Team (CERT)
CERT work with a wide variety of clients from within some of the most deprived wards in the Humber area. They run a range of courses including – Communities Explored, Practical Business Planning and Progression Awards.
Connexions
Connexions Humber is an organisation whose core business is to deliver high quality impartial IAG to both young people and adults. HLC work with them on the IAG contract.
Dads Against Drugs (DADs)
The DADs football initiative was launched in 2001 as a response to tackle the issues of drugs in the local community. The DADs football team was formed to promote drug awareness to the young in local communities. DADs offer Skills for Life (SfL) qualifications to their clients. They also embed SfL in their other activities.
Dyslexia Action
Dyslexia Action has three main roles: assessment, teaching and teacher training. It also produces its own publications and teaching materials and undertakes research programmes.
A small, friendly training provider with three centres across the East Riding in Bridlington, Cottingham and Goole. As part of East Riding of Yorkshire Council we can help young people to apply for administration and customer service apprenticeship posts both within the council and outside of the council. Apprenticeships and advanced apprenticeships are delivered in the following vocational areas: Business administration; Customer service; IT practitioners. E2E (entry to employment) is aimed at young people who are not yet ready to enter work or mainstream training. E2E provides a wide range of training and support.
Foresight
Based in Grimsby, Foresight offer a wide range of support services and training courses for those who are sensory impaired. Course offered include: Advanced Digital Photography, Excel and PowerPoint, Advanced Microsoft Office, Beginners IT, Microsoft Word and Visual Impairment Awareness.

Goodwin Development Trust
Goodwin is a community development trust in Hull. Their overall goal is to improve the quality of life of people living in deprived neighbourhoods, having wardens patrolling in many parts of Hull. They also offer Learn Direct and work with members of the communities to improve their learning through Skills for Life.

HLC work with the Grimsby Institute on the LSC / ESF Adult Engagement and IAG Contracts.

HEMCC (Hull Ethnic Minority Community Centre)
HEMCC offers ESOL, Citizenship and driving theory test tuition within the BME community of Hull.
Hull and East Yorkshire Mind
Hull and East Yorkshire Mind work with those with, or at risk of, mental health problems and who are socially excluded. They offer course around confidence building and assertiveness, stress busting and effective job search skills.
Hull Hostel Forum
HHF work with the homeless and those in supported accommodation who are in danger of becoming homeless. They offer entry level courses within the National Skills Profile.
IB2K
IB2K are a training provider based in Hull and Bridlington. They work mainly with job seekers and offer information, advice and guidance and training services. HLC work with them on the IAG contract.
Igen Future Pathways
Igen is a not for profit, partnership organisation, based in Leeds. It is a careers information, advice and guidance company. HLC work with the Humber branch on the IAG contract.
Invest Business Training Solutions
Invest are a trading arm of Hull College. The College offers a range of bespoke and tailor made courses for business, which can be delivered in the workforce or on college premises. These courses are designed to deliver cost saving efficiencies and staff development, to ensure the growth of business to aid the regeneration of the area.
Latitude
atitude is a training provider with long term experience of delivering training to unemployed clients and working in support of those individuals disadvantaged by additional barriers to re-engagement in the Humber region. HLC work with Latitude on the IAG contract.
Llite (including Llinc)
Llinc is a social enterprise, established in 2007, by the directors of Llite Training Company. Llite delivers training in the Humber area. HLC work with Llite through Llinc on the IAG contract and the Adult Engagement contract.
North East Lincs Employment Development Service
HLC work with NELEDS on the LSC / ESF IAG contract
Probe
Probe is a community based organisation serving the East of the City of Hull. They work with some of the most disengaged local residents. HLC work with Probe on both the Adult Engagement and IAG projects.
Recycling Unlimited
Recycling Unlimited
A local charity in Hull which supports those suffering from mental illness and those from disadvantaged and socially excluded groups. They deliver ESOL classes.
Springboard Training Centre
Springboard developed out of Birds Eye to offer training to employees. It has grown to involve the community. They work with unemployed people from hard to reach areas, as well as ex-employees, supporting them on to courses, in to training and back in to work. They also have links with Grimsby College. They offer Skills for Life, RAW and IT training.
Westcliff Neighbourhood Drop-In
The long-term aim of the Drop-In is to serve and respond to the identified needs of the residents; to encourage community involvement and empowerment through community development activities, to re-engage hard to reach learners, to promote lifelong learning, provide signposting, information giving and referral to other appropriate agencies and organisations. The Westcliff Neighbourhood Drop-In Centre is committed to providing and promoting a quality service that serves the local community, based on identified needs, and in consultation with the local community.
Willow
Willow is a women’s centre based in the HU6 area of Hull, one of the most deprived ares of the city. They offer courses on Women into Work, Life and Leisure
Winner
Winner is a women's centre based in the HU9 area of Hull, one of the most deprived areas of the city. They offer courses on Confidence Building, Stress Management and Working with Domestic Violence.
