Adult and Community Learning | acl@hlc-vol.org | Funded via the LSC’s recurrent funding stream, this project aims to provide learning opportunities to all adults using VCS organisations as the deliverers of learning. We co-ordinate a programme of taster sessions, non-accredited and accredited short courses across the Humber sub-region.. Participants are able to engage with VCS organisations locally and are able to influence their own learning opportunities and pathways. |

National Skills for Life target of 1.5 million to improve their skills by 2007. Humberside Skills for Life target of 29,000 qualifications by 2007. Working Together in Skills for Life Provision will enable both the Voluntary and Community sector and the Work Based Learning sector to further engage and deliver Skills for Life provision across the Humber Region. |

European Funding | euroadmin@hlc-vol.org | Humberside Learning Consortium European Funding Advice Service is responsible for providing information, advice and technical assistance to voluntary organisations wishing to access European Structural Funding. It is part of a regional partnership project to ensure organisations across the region are given the support they need in understanding a confusing and often misunderstood funding opportunity. |

Performance Improvement | performance.improvement@hlc-vol.org | Funded through Capacitybuilders, this project aims to improve the performance of voluntary and community organisations by providing sector-specific training and development opportunities across the Humber area. We co-ordinate a programme of non-accredited short courses and master-classes delivered via Local Development Agencies. |

BME Partnership Project | bme@hlc-vol.org | Working throughout the Humber sub-region, the aims and objectives of this project are to seek to remove barriers to obtaining work, increase the level of employability of BME individuals and raise the capacity of partner BME organisations to sustain this work in the future. |
